My name is Raúl, and I hopped the Atlantic 6 years ago going the other way. Born and raised in Paraguay, I lived there my entire life until I turned 18, when I moved to Italy to do my Bachelor’s in Economics at Bocconi University during the pandemic. After 4 years in Italy, I moved to Dublin to work as an AM at Google in 2024.

Six years after moving, I feel as European as I do Paraguayan, and I feel very established in Europe. That said, often missing home, I recently began advising European friends and entrepreneurs on how to establish a legal base in Paraguay—whether for tax advantages, the weather, safety, or a reliable backup plan.
